How do you find private meeting space at the office in a moments notice? Meet Illumigami — a lantern that hangs outside a conference room door to elegantly communicate the availability of the room. Check out www.illumigami.io to learn all about it!

Examples

Custom Printed Circuit Board

At its core is the Illumigami brain — our custom-printed circuit board that controls LEDs and connects to the internet.

3D Printed LED Housing

We leveraged our 3D printer to create a housing that supports and protects the electronics.

3D Printed Origami Lantern

3D-printed translucent lanterns shades diffuse the light and pull everything together. As meetings begin and end the lanterns change color to reflect the corresponding changes in room availability.

Custom Software

We wrote custom software that connects these lanterns to our office resource calendar, accessible from mobile or desktop.
